Tickets to world-renowned vocalist Renée Fleming’s Gala Concert will go on sale to the public Feb. 3 for $120.
The concert will take place on May 2 at 6 p.m. in Shannon Hall at Memorial Union. Fleming will make her Shannon Hall debut with pianist and Wisconsin Union Theater Concert Series veteran Inon Barnatan.
This is the first opportunity to purchase tickets to Fleming’s performance without purchasing a subscription for all eight Concert Series performances.

The Wisconsin Union’s Winter Carnival will return Feb. 3-9 with new events that encourage University of Wisconsin-Madison students and other community members to get outside and enjoy Wisconsin’s winter season.
One new addition to the Winter Carnival experience is Terrace Wonderland, an evening of winter-themed activities at the Memorial Union Terrace Feb. 6 from 4-7 p.m. This free debut event will include live music, cotton candy, family-friendly games, gingerbread house-making, a hot chocolate bar, Valentine's Day card-making, an ice skating rink and more.
The Wisconsin Union’s Social Justice Hub team is accepting applications for its campus Social Justice Action Teams now through Feb. 9, 2020.
Social Justice Action Teams are individual University of Wisconsin-Madison students or teams of UW-Madison students who build a collaborative group to achieve social justice goals.

The Wisconsin Union will host a pop-up holiday sale Dec. 10-12 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. in Memorial Union’s Paul Bunyan Room with Terrace and University of Wisconsin-Madison merchandise and apparel at a 30 percent discount.
The Wisconsin Union Social Justice Hub, the Student Pre-Health Committee, and the Center for Pre-Health Advising will co-host the Health Equity Symposium at the University of Wisconsin-Madison on Dec. 5. The goal of the symposium is to educate undergraduates about current health issues in the Madison area, what is currently being done, and how students can get involved both now and in their future careers.

The 56th Annual Hoofer Ski and Snowboard Resale will take place Dec. 7 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and Dec. 8 from 8 a.m.-noon at Union South’s Varsity Hall and will feature local and national vendors with discounted new and used winter sports gear for the entire family.
