Wisconsin Union Theater Tradition Continues but with New Notes
Posted: 05/19/21
Our society worldwide has witnessed and continues to endure a challenging period filled with unimaginable loss, sadness, and adversity. But there is hope. Together, we can help rebuild our communities through the power of art, working in solidarity to interrupt racism and become a more inclusive and unbiased theater.
Our mission continues to present the very best performing arts without compromise and provide a safe and welcoming environment for all. The Wisconsin Union Theater is more than performing arts spaces – it is an inspiration to our campus and greater Madison community and a proud home for remarkable performances from all around the world.
Your safety and comfort are paramount. To best serve our patrons, we will offer live-streaming and other virtual viewing opportunities to audience members who choose not to or who are unable to attend in person. We will look to public health and university guidelines for our in-person event policies which will be designed with your safety in mind. Coming later this summer, we will announce information on ticketing, seat locations, and everything you need to know to plan your theater visit.
