NewBridge--A Local Madison Non-Profit

Posted: 10/25/20

NewBridge is an organization serving older adults in the Madison and Monona area. The non-profit first began on January 1, 2019. NewBridge’s goal is to provide a bridge to help older adults have successful transitions, and make the timeline of aging a smooth, easy, and healthy process. They provide a supportive environment for older adults to live independent lives, and provide an array of services for them. In 2019, the organization had 1,483 volunteers, 12,644 volunteer hours, and provided 38,279 meals for older adults.

Starting in August, NewBridge began to slowly reopen after being closed for a bit due to COVID-19. A few of their services that have started up again are Bridge Buddies, Food Bridge Delivery, Home Chore Volunteer Services (outdoor), Online Cultural Diversity Activities, and more.
