The University of Wisconsin–Madison Senior Class Office (SCO) will gift funds to the Center for Healthy Minds Higher Education Fund as its 2023 senior class gift.
Every year, the students of the UW–Madison SCO choose a project or beneficiary of its senior class gift. The SCO raises funds to leave a legacy for the class and improve UW–Madison in a tangible way.

Renowned jazz saxophonist, composer and arranger Immanuel Wilkins will use empathy and spirituality to address racial injustice through music when he performs with his quartet at the Play Circle Theater in Memorial Union on March 25 at 7:30 p.m. CST. Wilkins’s performance is part of the Wisconsin Union Theater’s 2022-23 Jazz Series.
Twenty-three-year-old jazz singer Samara Joy has been celebrated for her effortless control of timeless jazz standards. Just a few months after winning her first two GRAMMY Awards, including the coveted award for Best New Artist, she will showcase her smooth, mature vocals when she performs at Shannon Hall in Memorial Union on May 4 at 7:30 p.m. CST.

Three-time GRAMMY Award-winning composer, jazz singer and musical storyteller Cécile McLorin Salvant will blend sounds that reimagine the jazz genre when she performs at Shannon Hall in Memorial Union on Feb. 7 at 7:30 p.m. CST. Salvant’s concert is part of the Wisconsin Union Theater’s 2022-23 Jazz Series.

The Wisconsin Union Theater's 2022-23 season continues to bring audiences opportunities to experience the avant-garde vibrancy of the performing arts with veteran dance phenomenon Pilobolus on Feb. 1 at 7:30 p.m. CST in Shannon Hall at Memorial Union and Imani Winds on Feb. 5 at 7:30 p.m. CST in Collins Recital Hall at the Hamel Music Center.

The historic campus dining venue the University Club will reopen Jan. 23 with a new, casual dining concept, called Union Commons, and seating under the management of the Wisconsin Union, the nonprofit organization that also manages Memorial Union, Union South, the Memorial Union Terrace, and markets and cafes throughout campus.
