The Wisconsin Union Directorate (WUD) Film Committee invites Wisconsin Union members and their guests to experience a Terrace After Dark season that features both a film series for people of all ages as well as a series dedicated to films through the decades.
WUD Film proudly introduces Lakeside Family Films, a new series that offers family-friendly films on select Sundays at 8:30 p.m. This summer’s lineup includes “The Incredibles”, “The Muppet Movie”, “Pokémon the Movie 2000”, “The Iron Giant” and “Zootopia”.
Plus, Lakeside Cinema returns to the Memorial Union Terrace on Monday nights at 9 p.m. from Memorial Day to Labor Day. This series will feature films either set in or made in each decade.
The Lakeside Cinema: Move Time film series begins with “Singin’ in the Rain”, a film that is set in the 1920s. The series includes classics such as “West Side Story”, “American Graffiti”, “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”, “Clueless” and many more.
On film nights, the Brat Stand will offer $1 hot dogs, $1 sodas and $1 bags of chips. In the event of inclement weather, Wisconsin Union members and their guests can access updates on Twitter at Twitter.com/TerraceUpdates.
Lakeside Cinema and Lakeside Family Films are curated and programmed by the student-run WUD Film Committee.
