WUD Alumni Invited to Attend Reunion in 2017

Posted: 06/29/16

The Wisconsin Union Directorate (WUD) invites past and present Directorate team members and Hoofer alumni to a reunion Nov 9-11, 2017.

Registration for the Wisconsin Union and Memorial Union Building Association (MUBA)-hosted event opens June 2017.

Reunion events will include a tour of Union South and the restored Memorial Union. The tours will introduce members to the Union South that was opened in 2011 and the more recently restored Memorial Union. This will show the alumni how valuable and lasting their efforts continue to be.

WUD and Hoofer alumni will also take part in a Badger Bash tailgate and game watch at Union South. The familiar, friendly atmosphere of a Badger football game will allow for networking between alumni and current WUD members.

WUD is the Wisconsin Union’s student programming board, which offers leadership opportunities in programming, organizing, and promoting events in art, recreation, music, film, culture and much more. The WUD Reunion is an opportunity for WUD members and alumni to meet and discuss the impact of WUD on their lives at UW-Madison and beyond in their careers and communities.

The WUD reunion planning committee encourages alumni to attend the event to receive well-deserved recognition and to share their experiences with others.

“This is another opportunity to reconnect and have fun with your fellow Directorate and Hoofer leaders,” said WUD Reunion Facilitator Jim Rogers.

WUD and Hoofer alumni interested in helping spread the word about this opportunity may do so by becoming reunion ambassadors. The Union and MUBA encourage interested individuals to email Darren DeMatoff, MUBA associate trustee, at darren@goldleafdsigngroup.com.

Anyone interested in attending can stay up-to-date by sending a blank email to join-wudreunioninterest@lists.wisc.edu.
