About
Outdoor UW serves as an outlet to the outdoors for the UW-Madison campus community. Outdoor UW provides outdoor recreation rentals, educational opportunities, and recreation experiences. Additionally, Outdoor UW is home for and supports the Wisconsin Hoofers, the premier outdoors club at UW-Madison. Hoofers welcomes all, including those with no university affiliation to join and take part in outdoor activities.
Our purpose is to fulfill the Wisconsin Union's mission by welcoming, engaging, and connecting with the campus community around the outdoors. Our Mission is to provide exceptional experiences in the outdoors, for all.

Thursday - Friday: 1 - 5:30pm
Saturday - Sunday: 10:00am - 5:30pm

Parking: Parking for Outdoor UW can be found along Langdon street at time-based pay stalls, in the Helen C. White building parking garage next to Memorial Union on Park Street, or in the nearby garage on Lake Street off State Street.
