Getting To Memorial Union

Take I-90 or US 151 to Hwy 12/18.
Exit Hwy 12/18 at Park Street (Exit 261 B).
Proceed north on Park Street about 3 miles to Langdon Street
800 Langdon is on the corner of Langdon and Park Streets
Parking Lot 6/Helen C. White garage is located at the end of Park St. (at the Lake), on the left.

Transportation Options

  • Metro Transit serves residential neighborhoods, the Isthmus, schools, and universities in Madison, Middleton, Fitchburg, Verona, and the Town of Madison—including the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

  • Traveling to Memorial Union and Union South by bike is highly recommended. The Union has ample parking for personal bicycles, and both buildings offer BCycle classic and electric bicycle sharing stations. 

    BCycle Madison offers over 50 BCycle stations and 350 bikes throughout central Madison and the UW–Madison campus.  Campus has more than 16,000 free bicycle parking spots.   • Van Galder

    Van Galder Bus offers daily service to Downtown Chicago, O'Hare Airport, Midway Airport, Janesville, Beloit and Rockford.

  • Dane County Regional Airport (MSN), on Madison’s northeast side, provides regional and national air service to and from Madison.  

    MSN has daily flights to most major regional cities, and international locations via connection.

  • The Goodspeed pier is uniquely designed to provide docking access for boats and paddlecraft, such as canoes and kayaks. Located off the shore north of the Below Alumni Center, home of the Wisconsin Alumni Association offices on Lake Street, the pier is the lakeside entry to Alumni Park.
